Style Round Up: Celebrities at Milan Fashion Week!

If you thought the world's brightest and best pulled out all the stops for London Fashion Week, then you'd be sorely mistaken: it seems like the biggest faces in fashion went into full-on Cinderella mode for Milan's Fashion Week. While London's all about off-beat quirkiness, it was Milan's fashion week that encouraged some very well known faces to try something different: the edgier slebs channelled more classic looks, while youthful popstrels flirted with S&M influenced attire. First up, face of the moment, CARA DELEVINGNE cara_2678039a Strewth! Not a backwards baseball cap in sight for the British beauty best known for her tomboy stylings - nope, the model was all lady for the Fendi store opening in a soft side ponytail and a strapless velvet dress. We love the pop of colour her primrose yellow evening bag lends the proceedings! A softer, younger look for Cara - and one we'd like to see again. LEIGH LEZARK leigh-lezark_2678774a Why hello there, Jessica Rabbit! Leigh is all unabashed sex appeal in vinyl autumn/winter 2013 Versace.  This is fashion fast food: not ideal for everyday, but greasy and delicious as an occasional late night treat. Props to her fellow Misshapes DJ Geordon Nicol for his loud n' proud patterned bomber! BLAKE LIVELY BlakeLively-gucci_2677621a Holy moly! Continuing the trend for XXX looks, Blake's dress makes other all other sartorial pretenders to the body con throne look like flowing milkmaid smocks. The mustard hue freshens the look,  giving it a quirkiness that saves it from Dynasty-era trashy, while we love the metallic heels. 10/10, Blake. CATE BLANCHETT cate-x_2677620a Aussie actress Cate was guest of honour at Vogue's Beauty In Wonderland event, and we love her outfit! Not as styled to perfection as the others, we think this is a fresh, youthful look after the glut of bodycon on show at Milan. It's fun, it's a little silly and that wonderfully frivolous skirt's just the thing to go with a glass of fizz! Wish we'd been there, Cate! PALOMA FAITH paloma-faith-ap_2677636a paloma_2678038a Oh, Paloma. Style Round Up's personal fashion goddess, we reckon Paloma always adds a touch of colour to proceedings! Milan Fashion Week was no exception. Paloma was a vision in soft pink at Maxmara's show (the matchy-matchy lips and heels shouldn't work, but somehow do) while she looked a treat in ankle socks and pom-pom heels on a separate outing. Promise we can come round one day and raid your wardrobe, Paloma? OLIVIA PALERMO olivia-palermo-g_2677614a She of the swishy-swishy mermaid hair and endless caramel-hued legs did pretty-with-a-twist well at Milan - giraffe print is always a refreshing alternative to leopard, while styling the mid-length frock with cage heels gave it a much needed edge. JUNO TEMPLE junto-temple_2678076a Proving that Brits may not be polished, but they have fun, Juno Temple (left) looks like a joyful bag lady - in the best of all possible ways! The British actress's bird's nest hair may have raised some perfectly shaped brows, but we're guessing she was the only one who was able to throw some serious shapes on the dancefloor come midnight! KATE MOSS kate-g_2677615a (2)Kate gives everyone a masterclass in subtle sex appeal at Milan - a sheer shirt and a flash of feet in t-bar heels is all that's needed for the Milan populace to throw themselves at her perfectly manicured feet. All bow to Queen Kate! Deliciously, unashamedly sophisticated. SELENA GOMEZ selena_2678773a (2) Selena Gomez wore just-off-the-catwalk Versace to the Versace show. Forget Spring Breakers, this is how the former Disney star can prove to the world she's Woman, hear her roar! The bondage style dress is revealing without being full-on trashy, while the purple-black lipstick gives her extra style points. Seriously grown up shoes (they look a little like something my mum would have worn to raise hell at Parents' Evening) are the cherry on the top of this fashion cake.
